Oropharyngeal dysphagia meets most of the criteria to be recognized as a major geriatric syndrome and their prevalence is very high among older patients and results in various diseases ,Dysphagia risk factors and diseases of precipitation  .Dysphagia The current state of the art in the management of oropharyngeal dysphagia in elderly patients is the identification of patients at risk of early dysphagia, by evaluating changes in the biomechanical response events oropharyngeal swallow, trying to prevent and treat possible complications of dysphagia or Oropharyngeal Dysphagia  such as aspiration pneumonia ( AP ) and malnutrition, and the recognition of oropharyngeal dysphagia as a major geriatric syndrome .
